ITHAND – Inclusive Tools for Health Awareness and Engagement of Disabled Youth through Sport is a 24-month Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnership project (Project ID: 101184602 – ERASMUS-SPORT-2024-SSCP) that aims to promote social inclusion, equity, and community engagement through handball and health-enhancing physical activity (HEPA).
Designed for trainers and coaches who want to create inclusive sport environments but can be read by everyone who are curious about the topic. It will include:
Designed for the training of trainers through using the ETS methodology. It will be available here. The program will consist of four modules:
Module 1 – Cultural Awareness and Sensitivity
Module 2 – Language Inclusion Strategies
Module 3 – Tailored Coaching for Diversity
Module 4 – Community Building and Engagement
ITHAND is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership between countries, aiming to integrate immigrants into local clubs and communities, strengthen the capacity of trainers to use inclusive coaching methods, and empower immigrants through meaningful participation in handball activities. By combining research, non-formal education, training, and creative outputs such as a handbook and documentary and support inclusion and diversity of disadvantaged communities.
